Remarks from the Founder

Archbishop Lambert Bainomugisha, Founder

St. Josephine Bakhita Preparatory School was established to provide quality education and holistic formation for Catholic girls from Primary Four onwards. Inspired by our patroness, St. Josephine Bakhita, we are committed to nurturing girls who are academically excellent, spiritually grounded, morally upright, and prepared to serve God and society.

As a Catholic institution, our mission goes beyond academic achievement. We strive to form girls in faith, discipline, integrity, confidence, and respect for human dignity, preparing them to become responsible Christian women and future leaders.

I invite our learners, parents, teachers, and the entire Catholic community to embrace and support this mission. Together, let us empower our girls through education and Christian formation, enabling them to realise their God-given potential.

May St. Josephine Bakhita inspire us always, and may God bless our school and guide us in fulfilling this noble mission.

“Empower a Girl, Empower Humanity.”

Welcome to St. Josephine Bakhita Preparatory School, a Catholic institution dedicated to providing quality education and holistic formation for girls.

Our commitment is to nurture learners academically, spiritually, morally, and socially, guided by Catholic values and inspired by the life of our patroness, St. Josephine Bakhita. We strive to create a supportive learning environment where every girl discovers her potential, grows in faith, develops confidence, and acquires the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in life.

Working together with parents, the Church, and the wider community, we aim to form disciplined, responsible, and compassionate young women who will positively contribute to society.

We invite you to join us on this journey of excellence and Christian formation.

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Mucunguzi , Chaplain

Welcome to St. Josephine Bakhita girls preparatory School- Kitabi.

It is my joy and privilege to serve as chaplain to these young daughters of God. Our patroness, St. Josephine Bakhita, is a powerful model for our girls. From pain of slavery, she rose through faith to become a saint of forgiveness, hope and dignity. We tell every girl here; you are not defined by your past or your struggles, you are a beloved and blessed daughter of God born for greatness.
